Beyonce stunned the music world on Wednesday by announcing a 40-city world tour exclusively in venues with capacities under 5,000 seats. Tickets will be distributed through a lottery system to combat scalping.
The tour, dubbed the 'Homecoming Intimate Series,' will feature stripped-down arrangements of her catalog spanning all eight studio albums, with a 12-piece band and no backing tracks.
